We pride ourselves in having a wide selection of make and models to choose from at Rutabaga, but that means that we sometimes don't have specific models or colors shown on our sales floor. If you want to come and check out a specific boat on our sales floor, please call or email us in advance to set up a viewing appointment. If we don't have the exact make and model you're after on the floor, it could take 45 minutes or more to retrieve that specific boat from our warehouses.

The unique hull shape of the Delta 17 was influenced by both British and North American design concepts, creating a beautiful blend of performance and predictability. The hybrid design provides good initial and excellent secondary stability allowing easy edge transitions and excellent handling characteristics in various sea conditions. The Delta 17 is an excellent choice for paddlers looking to improve and hone their skills whether it’s cruising on inland lakes or surfing ocean swells. It’s ample volume and large hatches allow plenty of stowage room for those extended trips. It’s loaded with all the usual Delta features including the super comfortable and fully adjustable Delta seat system as well as a moulded compass mount. Delta kayaks are built from thermoformed, high impact, light weight plastics. Their boats offer superior weather and UV resistance while maintaining excellent abrasion resisitance and a high-gloss finish.
Adjustable Seat:
All Delta touring kayaks include an adjustable seat pan. This allows paddlers to shift the seat forward for a tighter fit in the cockpit or to slide the seat back for more legroom.
