Rutabaga's staff love traditional paddles, so we worked with a premiere paddle maker to come up with our own. The Lutra (Greek for Otter) is crafted from traditional cherry wood, and each paddle is laser-etched with the classic Wave In The Rutabaga logo. The paddles are oiled, not varnished, to make the paddle feel good in the hand and make maintenance as simple as rubbing in a little oil.
