Wildfire

A Classic David Yost design made with Swift’s Resin Infusion process. This lightweight solo canoe has a shallow arch hull and sleek waterline shape. The Wildfire’s hull is symmetrical, but it’s shape above the waterline is slightly asymmetrical as the bow end height is slightly higher than the stern.  This playful boat has lots of flare above the waterline and 2.5” of rocker at each end. It is a fast-cruising hull that has tremendous maneuverability, especially when healed on it’s side. Wildfire is a great companion for those solo paddlers that love river and lake trips. Its ease of manoeuvrability and playfulness brings a smile to intermediate and advanced paddlers alike!

Carbon Fusion

Stunning, remarkably light boats for those who want the lightest canoe available.

Swift Carbon Fusion canoes are built with an outside layer of clear marine gel coat with Carbon, Kevlar, and Innegra cloth layers sandwiching a durable foam core and rib system. The laminate is fused together with a high impact, flexible Epoxy Vinylester resin system containing an Ultraviolet Ray (UV) inhibitor. These ultra-lightweight boats consist of an outer layer of Carbon fiber coupled with layers of Kevlar and high modulus polypropylene Innegra cloth to generate a hull optimized for lightness.

The Carbon Fusion laminate is available in a variety of stunning carbon finishes.

Carbon Fusion - Kayak

Ideal for those who want an incredibly light and attractive performance kayak.

Swift Carbon Fusion kayaks are constructed with layers and pieces of Carbon, S-glass and Kevlar cloth sandwiching a high performance, marine foam core. The laminate is fused together with a flexible, impact resistant Epoxy Vinylester Resin creating a kayak that is our lightest ever. Carbon Fusion kayaks are available with a clear Carbon or coloured deck with a carbon cloth hull. The hull can also have a Champagne gel finish at no additional charge.

Expedition Kevlar

A strong, lightweight laminate for wilderness trippers who demand tremendous strength and durability.

Swift Expedition Kevlar canoes are built with an exterior coating of clear marine gel coat with layers of Kevlar fabric, Basalt cloth derived from volcanic rock, and high modulus polypropylene Innegra fiber. These layers and pieces sandwich a durable foam core and rib system, creating a long lasting laminate capable of greater elongation and elasticity without failure than any other composite laminate. Fused together with a high impact, flexible Epoxy Vinylester resin system that contains an Ultraviolet Ray (UV) inhibitor.

The Expedition Kevlar laminate is available in clear coat or with interior and exterior gel coat.

Kevlar Fusion

Our most popular canoe laminate with our highest strength to weight ratio.

Swift Kevlar Fusion canoes are built with an outside layer of a clear marine grade gel coat with Polyester, S-glass and Kevlar cloth layers sandwiching a durable foam core and rib system. The laminate is fused together with a high impact, flexible Epoxy Vinylester resin system.

The Kevlar Fusion laminate is available with our vibrant color cloth finish or solid color gel coat finish.

Kevlar Fusion - Kayak

Ideal for paddlers that demand a high strength, lightweight boat for day paddling and touring.

Swift Kevlar Fusion kayaks are constructed with layers and pieces of S-glass and Kevlar cloth sandwiching a high performance, marine foam core. The laminate is fused together with a flexible, impact resistant Epoxy Vinylester Resin creating a kayak that has our highest strength to weight ratio ever. Kevlar Fusion kayaks come standard with Coloured Decks and Champagne gel coat on the hull. The hulls can also have a clear gel coat finish at no additional charge.
