Trade-In Policy

Rutabaga offers trade-ins on full-price new canoes and kayaks. We do not accept all canoes and kayaks on trade, so please reach out to the store to discuss this before bringing your boat in. All trade-ins must be done at time of pickup of the new canoe or kayak. We are unable to perform a trade-in retroactively and cannot take your canoe or kayak in on a special order until it is picked up. Rutabaga does not accept trade-ins on canoes or kayaks that need extensive repair. We recommend spending time thoroughly cleaning your canoe or kayak before bringing it in.
